Keynote Speaker

Professor Francesca Spigarelli

Francesca Spigarelli is a Professor of Applied Economics at the Department of Law at the University of Macerata. Her main research areas focus on the application of economics to the study of sectoral dynamics and industrial policies, with particular attention to renewable energy, health, and new technologies.

She has gained extensive experience in studying the economy and development dynamics of China. Since 2013, she has been the Director of the China Center at the University of Macerata, a multidisciplinary hub for research and education that aims to foster debate, knowledge, and the study of China within the global economic and geopolitical context. The center is completely autonomous and is funded through European Union projects. In fact, Francesca Spigarelli has acquired significant experience in European project development, coordinating numerous projects and participating in international consortia with a strong focus on innovation.

She is the Italian representative, appointed by the Ministry of Research and University, to the Strategic Programme Committee of the European Commission – Subgroup on Widening Participation and Strengthening the European Research Area, within Horizon Europe (since 2020). For ten years, she served as the university delegate for third mission policies, research, and European project development. She is responsible for collaboration agreements with universities in the USA, China, India, and Europe. In 2022, she ran for the position of rector. She is a member of the Executive Board of the Italian Society of Industrial Economics and Policy (SIEPI), where she served as Secretary General from 2019 to 2022.

Professor Mieszko Mazur

Mieszko Mazur is a professor of finance at ESSCA Business School (France). He holds a Ph.D. in Finance from Tilburg University, where he was part of the prestigious European Corporate Governance Training Network (ECGTN), a collaboration among leading European business schools.

His primary research focus is on digital assets and decentralized finance (DeFi), including blockchains, cryptocurrencies, stablecoins, and NFTs, while his second area of interest lies in empirical corporate finance and corporate governance.

His work has appeared in numerous internationally recognized journals, including the Journal of Financial Markets, Journal of Macroeconomics, European Journal of Financial Management, Journal of Alternative Investments, International Review of Financial Analysis, and Journal of Applied Corporate Finance, among others. His work on cryptocurrencies has received extensive coverage in the international popular media.

He has held many visiting positions, including at the University of Technology Sydney, University of the New South Wales, Da Nang University of Economics, University of Texas at Austin. He teaches FinTech courses at multiple business schools around the world and regularly takes part in international academic and professional events focused on blockchain and crypto assets

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Danh Nguyen

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Danh Nguyen currently serves as the Dean of the School of Economics and Management (SEM) at Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST), Vietnam. He earned his Ph.D. from Okayama University, Japan in 2005, specializing in operations management and production systems. His academic expertise includes production planning and scheduling, operations management, and productivity improvement. His research interests focus on lean production systems, smart supply chain development, and human resource management in the era of digital economy and smart factories. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Dr. Nguyen actively engages in various collaborative research projects related to supply chain innovation and digital transformation in the manufacturing sector. With his combination of academic expertise, institutional leadership, and strong research contributions, Dr. Nguyen is a highly relevant speaker for topics related to operations management, industrial innovation, and efficiency strategies across the Asia-Pacific region.

Professor Dr. Roselina Ahmad Saufi, FCMI

Professor Dr. Roselina Ahmad Saufi, FCMI, currently serves as the Vice-Chancellor of University Malaya-Wales (UMW), Malaysia. She has a distinguished academic and leadership background, having formerly served as Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic & International) at Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK) from 2012 to 2015, and earlier as Group Managing Director of UMS Link Holdings Sdn. Bhd. between 2007 and 2012. She earned her Ph.D. and MBA from the University of Sheffield, United Kingdom, in 1995 and 1991, respectively. Her expertise spans human resource management, capacity building, entrepreneurship development, and rural entrepreneurship. Over her career, Prof. Roselina has contributed extensively in research, training, and policy advisory in education, business, and human capital — collaborating with government agencies, industries, and NGOs in Malaysia and across several countries. Given her deep knowledge and leadership experience, she is an excellent speaker for topics on human resource management, entrepreneurship, higher education, and capacity development at both national and international levels.

Iffat Sabir, Ph.D

Dr. Iffat Sabir, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor and Deputy Dean of the College of Business, Abu Dhabi Campus at Al Ain University (AAU). She earned her Ph.D. in Management from the University of Hull, UK. Her academic and research expertise spans human resources and organizational behavior; diversity, equity & inclusion (DEI); sustainability & entrepreneurship; as well as the use of artificial intelligence in HR. In teaching, Dr. Sabir covers courses such as Organizational Behavior, Leadership, Talent Management, Strategic HRM, Human Resource Development, among others in the HR and organizational domain. Beyond teaching and research, she has driven institutional transformation at AAU’s College of Business, embedding sustainability and SDG-oriented values into curricula and campus initiatives — reflecting her commitment to responsible, globally relevant management education. With her broad research background and academic leadership experience, Dr. Sabir is well suited as a speaker on modern HR management, diversity & inclusion, entrepreneurship & innovation, and integrating sustainability into education and organizational strategy.

Erlinda Nusron Yunus, S.TP., M.M., Ph.D

Erlinda Nusron Yunus, S.TP., M.M., Ph.D. is an Associate Professor at PPM School of Management in Jakarta, Indonesia. She earned her Ph.D. in Business Administration from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, USA. Her academic and research expertise covers supply chain management, innovation, productivity, as well as business transformation and sustainability.  Throughout her career, Dr. Yunus has published extensively in both national and international journals and conferences — investigating topics such as supply chain integration, big data analytics for supply chains, post-crisis resilience and innovation strategies, and sustainability in the context of SMEs.  In addition to her role as lecturer and researcher, Dr. Yunus plays active leadership roles in academic publication as the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Management and Business Review (JMBR).  With her blend of academic depth, research contributions, and editorial/academic management experience, Dr. Erlinda Nusron Yunus would be a highly relevant speaker for topics such as supply chain management, business innovation and transformation, sustainability, and operational performance — especially in the context of Indonesian or Asia-Pacific business and industry.

Prof. Ramayah Thurasamy

T. Ramayah is currently a Professor of Technology Management at the School of Management, Universiti Sains Malaysia, Visiting Professor King Saud University, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Adjunct Professor at Sunway University, Multimedia University and Universiti Tenaga Nasional, Malaysia. He has taught courses in Statistics, Operations Management, Research Methods and at the undergraduate level. He has supervised numerous Ph.D./MA/MBA students in the fields of Information Systems, Operations Management, Marketing Management, and Organizational Behavior. He has also presented numerous papers at local and international conferences having won 5 “Best Papers” award.
